My Assignments
¶
Users can view a list of events to which they’ve been assigned. Clicking the “View Assignment” link will navigate to the Event Detail page where users can preview and download materials, add comments, decline the event, find a substitute, or forward their assignment to another person.
I’m Unavailable
¶
The “I’m Unavailable” calendar gives users the ability to mark dates on which they cannot participate in faith formation events. If the user marks a day for which they have already been assigned, a notification will appear prompting the user to decline the assignment or send a notification to their Here We Stand Director.
Tip: Marking dates as "unavailable" will not communicate your lack of availability to your Here We Stand. To communicate unavailability to your Director before s/he schedules an event, follow the communication methods defined by your church.
Adding Family Members
¶
Family members are people associated with you who will not be signing into Here We Stand themselves. In most cases, family members will be kids. While Here We Stand uses the term "Family Members," any person associated with the family who does not need to sign in to Here We Stand (whether related or not) can be added as a "Family Member."
Tip: For families with two parents, we suggest creating one profile that both parents can use. Multiple email addresses can be added to a single profile so that both adults will be notified of their family’s events. This eliminates communication confusion regarding involvement in events, allowing both parents to see the involvement of all members of the family.
It is important that children are added as family members to only one adult profile. Adding children as family members to more than one adult profile will result in multiple children being entered into the system. If both parents are involved as Sunday school leaders, each parent should have their own profile, with children added as family members under one parent’s profile.
